CeLC 2011 - Partnerships
Location: Dalhousie University - Halifax, Nova Scotia
Dates: April 27 - 28, 2011
Pre-conference workshops: St. Mary’s University (April 26, 2011)
In April 2011 Dalhousie University is proud to host the Canadian eLearning Conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This represents the first time our national conference is on the east coast. As we celebrate the 9th gathering of kindred spirits, you may use this opportunity to retrace your ancestors who passed through Pier 21 when they immigrated to Canada. We look forward to seeing you for some down east hospitality next year.
Dalhousie will combine the annual Dalhousie University Conference on Teaching and Learning (DUCTL) with the Canadian eLearning Conference (CeLC). The conference will take place in the Rowe Management Building, including the Potter Auditorium (seats up to 500) and 6 case rooms around the central atrium in the building. It is centrally located on campus and will keep people well connected throughout the event. The Poster Session, refreshment breaks and Vendor Booths will be in the open atrium at the entrance to the building.
On Day 1, there will be a reception hosted by External Relations where 2010 Teaching Award Recipients will be announced. Stay tuned for details on other awards that may be presented during that event. On Day 2, there will be a Lobster Dinner at historic Pier 21.
The main conference on April 27 and 28 will be comprised of opening and closing keynotes with 50-minute breakout sessions. Conference workshops will be at St. Mary’s University on April 26.
“Partnerships” has been selected as the conference theme.
During these difficult economic times, the conference fees will be the same as during CeLC 2010 at the University of Alberta.
